Networks

In some areas of the country local networks have been established which allow staff from different centres to meet and exchange information, share materials and experiences and in some cases to undertake standardisation activities. The local networks that have been established between groups of centres tend to be organised by their local authorities. In some cases, representatives from colleges and from Independent Special Schools are invited to network meetings, even though they are outside local authority control.  If your centre is not part of a local network and you would like to contact others in your area but you are unsure which centres may be offering level 1 and 2 qualifications, please get in touch with SQA and we will try and help you make links with nearby centres (please refer to the SQA contact details).
