Hallo!
Ich bin _____ und ich bin 15 Jahre alt. Wie geht’s? Ich möchte über meine Schule schreiben.
Mein Schule heißt _____. Es ist eine klein, moderne Schule, die in der Nähe von _____ ist. Die Schule ist im Südwestschottland.
In meiner Schule es gibt ungefähr 800 Schüler und Schülerinnen und 60 Lerher. Es gibt einen großen Sportplatz, wo man Fußball spielen kann. Es gibt ein toller Schwimmbad, eine gute Kantine und ein Sprachlabor.
In der Schule lerne ich sieben Fächer dieses Jahr, d.h. Mathe, Englisch, Deutsch (natürlich!), Biologie, Sport, Geschichte und Informatik. Ich finde Deutsch toll, weil ich viel über Deutschland lerne und der Lehrer ist sehr enthusiastisch. Es ist mein Lieblingsfach. Jedoch, ich hasse Mathe, weil es ganz schwierig ist. Die Lehrerin ist sehr streng und sie gibt uns zu viel Hausaufgaben. Das ist unfair, weil ich oft müde nach Schule bin.
Hier in Schottland wir müssen eine Uniform tragen und die Schule beginnt um 9 Uhr und endet um 15:40. Ich finde die Uniform sieht gut aus aber ich finde der Schultag zu lang.
In der Zunkunft, möchte ich auf Universität gehen, um BWL mit Deutsch zu studieren. Ich hoffe, ein Geschäftsmann sein.

The candidate writes in a structured and organised way. The content is relevant to the task and shows a range of vocabulary within the topic area. The assignment is well-structured and is logical and covers all suggested bullet points. The candidate talks about her school and gives detailed information. The candidate also provides opinions and reasons of the subjects she is studying. The candidate has written in the style of an email which is appropriate to the task.
Accuracy
The overall accuracy of the language is very good for the level. There is a good range of vocabulary and structures in the text. Although there are a number of errors, these do not detract from the overall quality of the text. The errors are consistent and there is some mother tongue interference, particularly with the word order. The grammatical accuracy is very good, there is a genuine attempt at adjectival agreements and there are some good examples of inverted word order. Spelling is very accurate throughout, despite a couple of minor mistakes “Zunkunft” and “Lerher”. Nouns are capitalised.
Language resource
The candidate uses a range of language structures and verb forms. The candidate moves beyond basic verbs and uses separable verbs “sieht…aus”, the conditional mood “möchte” and subordinate and infinitive clauses. Some verb structures are less accurate but do not detract from all the overall quality of the piece. The language is detailed and flows well. Sentences start in a range of ways and there is a clear understanding of word order.
