National Progression Award Science
National Progression Awards (NPAs) assess a defined set of skills and knowledge in specialist vocational areas, linked to National Occupational Standards.
They are short courses that allow learners the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills across various areas of science, providing progression pathways to further education, training, and employment.
The following NPA's in Science are available:
- Science and Health at SCQF level 4
- Science and Technology at SCQF level 4
- Applied Sciences at SCQF level 5
- Scientific Technologies at SCQF level 6
- Laboratory Science at SCQF level 6
