Welcome to the Homepage for Geography
This website has been designed to assist teachers/lecturers of SQA Courses leading to National Qualifications. At all levels of each subject there will be information and advice on Marking, Appeals and Question Paper Setting. In addition we have plans to provide guidelines on how to differentiate between levels by showing what to expect from candidates at each level of the subject.
The Understanding Standards site is still under development and at the moment only provides full Marking Guidelines at Higher level. While you will be able to see other pages listed in the index, they have no content. However new materials are being added to the site regularly and other pages will soon become available.
Currently, the site restricts its focus solely to the externally marked components of Courses but again this is open to change as the site develops.
